Responsible for the effective cleaning and sanitation of the equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and producing a good quality product.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Clean sanitation areas, equipment, and machinery by using the proper equipment.
- Properly handle foamer and other chemicals used in the sanitation process and know the purpose of each chemical used.
- Complete accurate paperwork for the assigned areas
- Execute the cleaning of designated sanitation areas.
- Notify sanitation or production supervisor of any safety concerns or equipment problems.
- Must have ability to drive a forklift safely.
- Inspects equipment after each clean up to make sure it is clean and ready for inspection.
- Scrub equipment and machines during clean up or as needed
- Clean designated area and shovel debris from the floors.
- Responsible for cleaning the equipment, including cleaning floors, dusting equipment, pipes, ceiling, washing walls, windows.
- Ability to work as part of a team, capable of learning multiple jobs and maintaining a high quality of work.
- Actively participate in the training of new employees
- Other duties will be assigned as needed.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Position Requirements
- Regularly exposed to wet, hot, and cold conditions.
- Excellent attendance
- Must be able to work with chemicals
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Preferred to have sanitation experience but not required
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral form.
- Experience using/working with cleaning tools.
- Been able to work effectively unsupervised if required
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Able to lift or move up to 50lbs.
