Litigation Associate

Title: Litigation Associate Attorney: Full Time, In-Office

Location: Warren, NJ

Compensation: $100K-150K, based on experience and performance

We are seeking an enthusiastic and independent civil litigation attorney to focus on general litigation matters, including but not limited to estate and business litigation, and a billable hour requirement of only 1400 hours per year. Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, briefs and motions
• Performing and attending depositions
• Preparing, producing and reviewing discovery demands
• Preparing and delivering oral argument
• Develop case strategy
• Attending trial, hearings, arbitration and mediation
• Client Communication

Requirements

• JD Degree and admitted in NJ
• Civil Clerkship
• 4 years of litigation experience
• An Ability and experience independently managing a civil litigation matter from consultation to resolution
• Excellent client communication skills with a strong sense of empathy for client situations
• Ability to manage client expectations
• A positive attitude and independence to manage their own day
