We are looking for our first University Recruiting Program Manager to build Lambda’s early-career programs from the ground up. This is a foundational role—there is no pre-existing framework, no "playbook," and no limits on creativity. What You’ll Do
- Design & Build – Develop Lambda’s first-ever university recruiting and internship program, crafting a strategy that attracts top student talent.
- Create Meaningful Experiences – Develop immersive, high-impact internship programs that showcase Lambda’s technology, culture, and career opportunities.
- Experiment & Innovate – Implement creative and scalable strategies to engage early-career talent, trying new approaches without being afraid to fail forward.
- Develop Partnerships – Build relationships with top universities, student organizations, and faculty to strengthen Lambda’s presence in the early talent space.
- Plan & Execute Events – Oversee all aspects of university-related events, from career fairs to technical workshops, hackathons, and networking sessions.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and leadership to align hiring needs with university outreach efforts.
- Measure & Iterate – Define success metrics, track program performance, and continuously refine strategies to improve the program year over year.
You
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in university recruiting, early-career talent programs, or related experience.
- A builder’s mindset—you’re excited to create something from scratch and iterate along the way.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, balance priorities, and drive results in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Experience with event planning, program development, and community engagement.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM tools, and event management platforms.
Nice to Have
- A track record of launching and scaling new programs in an ambiguous or startup-like environment.
- Experience engaging with technical student populations, such as AI, machine learning, or engineering students.
- Passion for AI and machine learning
Salary Range Information
Based on market data and other factors, the annual salary range for this position is $145,000 - $210,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
