Job Title: Property Management Assistant - Part Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a very detail-oriented and organized Property Management Assistant to support our property management team. This role involves handling tenant and vendor documentation, managing accounts receivable/payable, processing lease increases, and ensuring compliance with insurance. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, financial sense, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify tenant insurance and other required documents.
- Analyze insurance requirements and obtain quotes for building owners.
- Manage accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P).
- Prepare collection reports and statements for past-due tenants.
- Process lease increases and update records accordingly.
- Conduct bank runs to deposit funds.
- Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring compliance with insurance, licensing, and W-9 requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, accounting, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Ability to handle financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
