Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Copper Cable Splicer to join our team at Lambert's Cable Splicing Company, LLC. As a Copper Cable Splicer, you will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the upgrade and splicing of Copper Cables, including assembling equipment according to design specifications and installing/repairing Copper lines in trenches and/or pedestals using various hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks associated with the upgrade and splicing of Copper Cables
- Assemble equipment according to design specifications
- Install/repair Copper lines in trenches and/or pedestals using various hand tools
- Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation
- Maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment
Requirements:
- 0-1 or more years experience as a Copper Splicer with experience on outside plant or system installations while working from blueprints, specifications, and system documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs
