Job Description
As an Electric Lineworker II at Lambert's Cable Splicing Company, LLC, you will be responsible for installing and repairing complex fiber and telecom cables and materials. You will work safely at heights using climbing hooks and ladders, and maintain safe work areas to ensure smooth traffic flow. You will also provide guidance and support to others as needed, and be prepared to travel for storm response on short notice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be 18 years of age or older and have authorization to work in the United States. You must also have a high school diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience, as well as a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record. A valid state CDL license and/or willingness to obtain it are also required. Finally, you must have a minimum of three years of relevant lineworker experience.
Physical Abilities and Exposures
This role requires you to work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces, and in remote locations. You must be able to climb stairs, use ladders, bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift up to 55 pounds. You may also need to operate vehicles and heavy machinery. Occasionally, you may need to use a keyboard and mouse.
