Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Unloader to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently unloading shipments, ensuring that all materials are handled safely and accurately. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment.
- Safely operate heavy machinery such as pallet jacks, cranes, and cherry pickers as needed.
- Perform materials handling tasks including sorting, stacking, and storing products in designated areas.
- Conduct inspections of incoming goods to ensure quality and accuracy of shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily unloading targets and deadlines.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations as required, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including pallet jacks and cranes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience with materials handling and heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay: $15.86 - $17.73 per hour
