Lamberti USA, Inc. produces specialty chemicals for a broad range of industrial applications. Its chemicals are designed to improve the manufacturing process and to add high-value features in terms of resistance, performance, safety, color and much more to many products used in your work and everyday life.
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a safety conscious, highly motivated and dependable self-starter.
Role and Responsibilities
· Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with overseeing the daily operations of the Warehouse Department and assigned staff.
· Knowledgeable in all packaging/shipping/strapping & wrapping requirements.
· Capable of reading and understanding all inventory picklist and order sheets.
· Ensure that orders are filled correctly and in a timely manner.
· Ensure FIFO is being accomplished
· Maintain raw material and finished product in an organized fashion
· Record and upload shipping information, as required by company rules (BOL, pre shipment loading data of every shipment, and order information).
· Proficient in reading and interpreting Bill of Ladings
· Knowledgeable and capable of truck scale operation and requirements.
· Understand storage and safety hazards of all raw material and finished product
· Knowledgeable on all container types and requirements.
· Knowledgeable in labeling requirements, both Product labels and HAZMAT Placards.
· Proficient in forklift equipment operation, truck loading and unloading
* Work Schedule 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Mon - Fri. and occasional weekends. Available for call outs.
Qualifications
· Experience: 2 years’ experience preferably with chemical manufacturing
· Certifications: IATA, DOT, IMDG certifications a plus
· Skills: knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Office, communication, organization, and problem-solving
· Knowledge: OSHA, environmental/regulatory laws, chemical properties, and international shipping standards
