Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Job Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for estimating commercial projects, preparing bids, and overseeing project execution to ensure profitability, quality, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction, estimating, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating & Bidding:
- Review bid invitations, project plans, and specifications.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
- Obtain and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotes.
- Prepare accurate proposals and submit bids on time.
- Project Management:
- Oversee project execution, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met.
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor project costs and work with the team to maintain profitability.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure projects adhere to contract requirements, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct site visits to inspect work progress and resolve issues proactively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3 years of experience in commercial landscaping, construction estimating, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction, materials, and industry practices.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Valid driver’s license required.
