LAMCO Slings & Rigging, Inc., is a family owned manufacturer and distributor of overhead lifting and cargo restraint products for the industrial, construction, utilities and transportation markets.
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective territory management and business development strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of the market, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to engage in cold calling and communication to generate new leads. Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Manage assigned territory to maximize sales opportunities and market penetration.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Engage in B2B sales activities, fostering strong relationships with clients.
- Utilize cold calling techniques to reach potential customers and generate leads.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management or business development.
- Strong understanding of territory management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Familiarity with workshop software and sales tracking tools is desirable.
