ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Printing: Utilize silk screens or gravure rollers to produce prototype samples for new design projects.
- Ink Formulation & Color Matching: Skill in formulating, matching, or mixing inks to achieve the color and finish of provided targets.
- Sample Evaluation & Adjustments: Inspect proofs or samples for color and print quality, making necessary adjustments based on designer or customer feedback.
- Project Documentation: Create or update project folders according to established processes, including attaching samples, customer swatches, color targets, revisions, and tool usage.
- Tool & Material Organization: Assist in keeping silkscreens, prototype samples, and materials organized and in their designated storage locations.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to take direction from designers and supervisors, with effective communication to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Multitasking & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure to meet project deadlines, considering schedule, tool availability, and designer input.
- Safety & Quality Standards: Adhere to operational, safety, and quality control procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a creative or printing environment, with exposure to design, color matching, or printing processes (e.g., gravure, silk screen).
Associates or Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Interior Design or related field preferred.
