The Lamoille Child Advocacy Center/Special Investigation Unit is seeking a full-time Executive Director. Responsibilities –

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the CAC/SIU including maintaining a child-friendly facility
  • Ensure case tracking, data entry, and generate programmatic reports
  • Maintain the current Accreditation status of the CAC/SIU under the National Children's Alliance Standards for Accreditation
  • Financial management including budget development, grants management, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate services with participating agencies including child protection (DCF), law enforcement, the State’s Attorney’s Office, advocacy organizations, and medical and mental health organizations to ensure the provision of trauma-informed investigation and intervention activities
  • Organize and facilitate monthly Multidisciplinary Team meetings
  • Conduct outreach and education to ensure the community is aware of the CAC/SIU services
  • Ensure the CAC/SIU meets all federal and state requirements
  • Act as the case coordinator for cases as necessary

Preferred qualifications – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong commitment to upholding confidentiality and to the mission of the organization, non-profit and financial management experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, self-motivation and strong organizational skills, experience engaging with children and families who have experienced trauma.

Competitive pay and benefits, including $70,000 annual salary, paid time off, retirement contribution, and a flexible schedule.
