Lamoille Health Partners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team! We are committed to providing high-quality patient care in a welcoming and supportive, fast-paced primary care office.
Responsibilities (may vary slightly depending on LNA or MA role):

Patient Care & Support:
- Obtain and document patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Collect and label specimens (e.g., blood, urine) as directed.
- Assist with basic wound care and dressing changes as directed.
- Provide emotional support and a comfortable environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently.

Clinical & Administrative Support:
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure necessary supplies are available.
- Sterilize and maintain medical equipment.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Answer phone calls and take messages.
- Maintain patient charts and electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorizations.
- Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
- Administer medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician (may vary based on state regulations and certification).
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
Qualifications:

Required:
- Current and valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in the state of Vermont OR
- Current Medical Assistant (MA) certification or registration.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
