What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Interventionists position at Lamoille North Supervisory Union?
The Lamoille North Supervisory Union is seeking trained Behavior Interventionists for summer and the 25-26 school year to serve in the roles of 1:1 BIs and "Pod" or small group BI positions supporting identified children throughout the day. These Positions will be supervised by Board Certified Behavior Specialists.
Skills:
-Establishes relationships and communicates with teachers and administrators,
-Implement and takes data relevant to the student specific behavior plan
-Attends required meetings that discuss behavior,
-Must be willing to receive training in Handle with Care strategies,
-Work efficiently and effectively, both individually and as part of a team,
-Ability and willingness to think “outside the box”
-Dedicated to the success of children
-Participate in professional development activities to improve skills related to job assignment
-Maintain positive relationships with the building administration, parents, other staff, and students in the buildings
-Collaborate with the school leadership team to ensure all students promote social, emotional learning
