What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Coordinator-Nutrition Services position at Lamoille North Supervisory Union?
We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our food service team. The position will assist with training personnel, substitute for LNSU SFA sites and will be responsible for distribution of food production. Responsibilities include: Maintaining kitchen and food in accordance with local and state health department rules and school policies. Observes proper hygiene and sanitation procedures in all aspects of daily duties.
b. Working safely within established guidelines for lifting techniques and knife safety, keeping facilities picked up, hazard free, and cooperating with others to keep co-workers safe. Overseeing meal transportation to ensure proper temperature and amounts are delivered to each school; and assisting in food preparation as needed. Assisting ensuring catering events setups are executed and delivered.Assisting with food and supply orders, as requested.
Maintaining daily Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HAACP) logs and daily/monthly refrigeration, receiving, cooking, and temperature logs to help ensure food safety in the School District. Maintaining operational procedures that ensure efficient food production and distribution.Provides exceptional customer service by: Maintaining quality standards for the presentation and service of food. Assisting with the implementation of a district-wide philosophy that focuses on both value (cost and affordability) and customer satisfaction. Helping to determine equipment needs and specifications consistent with program goals and budget.
Serves as substitute to the program staff, when absent. May perform other assignments as required. Training of employees with school nutrition standards. Up to date training to employees on changing industry regulationsLNSU offers a generous compensation and benefit package.
