We are seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our team at Lamoille Valley Chevrolet. As a full-time technician, you will be responsible for performing skilled labor and contractor duties related to the repair and maintenance of Chevrolet vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and inspections on Chevrolet vehicles to identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions.
- Repair and maintain Chevrolet vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards and specifications.
- Utilize technical knowledge and expertise to provide efficient and effective service to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain diagnoses and repairs needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- ASE and Chevrolet certifications preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Chevrolet vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and computerized systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must have own tools.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
