Job Summary
The Warehouse/Production position will fulfill and process orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse. Fabricate and test metal and rubber hoses and related equipment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Pull and ship customer orders, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to details.
Maintains an accurate running inventory.
Restocks supplies and inventory; check in and verify purchases.
Verify customer parts prior to shipping to customer.
Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy.
Records, reports, and returns defective items.
Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and production areas.
Program waterjet and stud saw jobs as necessary.
Be available on call, for after hours for supporting customer requirements, through a rotating on call schedule if required by
Set up, operate and maintain machinery used for cutting and crimping hoses. Test hose pressure per specification.
Operate PC to enter data into testing program (Info Chip) and print test documents. Operate PC to make metal I.D. tags containing test information.
Train or assist in training new workers.
Inspect finished products for and conformance to specifications and quality standards, visually or using instruments. Check for defects. Maintain product quality.
Operate Forklift, Pallet jack or hand dolly when moving inventory for shipping or storage.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Job Specifications
Skills
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions/documents.
Has basic computer capabilities and is proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work with a team
Education
High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
Work Experience
Previous gasket, bolt or hose experience is desirable.
Warehouse or fabrication yard or shop experience is helpful.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, climbing, bending, stooping, pushing or pulling.
Continuous standing/walking.
Work frequently or continuously with weights heavier than fifty pounds.
Good eye/hand/foot coordination.
Ability to work in cold, hot and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions.
