Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Freight Logistics Specialist to join our team at Lampert Lumber. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of materials to job sites across Wisconsin.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation logistics and possess a valid CDL license. You will be expected to operate safely, inspect and maintain your vehicle, and report any issues to your supervisor.
You will also be responsible for organizing and securing loads, assisting forklift operators when loading, and checking orders for accuracy. Additionally, you will deliver and unload materials to customers' satisfaction and complete daily equipment pre-inspections.
In this role, you will work closely with our supervisors and other employees to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the delivery process.
