What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Specialist position at Lampert Lumber?
The Warehouse Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and yard operations. They are responsible for directing the work of warehouse and/or yard associates, receiving, shipping, stocking, ordering, and counting inventory items, while monitoring quality and completing all necessary paperwork.
This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate a forklift with foot and hand controls. The Warehouse Lead must also be able to assist warehouse associates and direct supervisors in maintaining an organized work environment, comply with all company policies and guidelines, and complete other tasks as assigned.
