Inside Sales Clerk

Summary:

Customer Service Clerk – This role is responsible for managing day to day execution of data entry and Customer Service support for strategic Aerospace accounts to ensure on-time execution, delivery, and overall performance of new and existing awards. This role works closely with Sales, Program Management, and Operations to support the Program/Account Management Process.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure premier service and full customer satisfaction through internal administrative support
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales Team and internal focals
• Purchase Order / Change Order Entry
• Customer shipment setup including “will call” and freight forwarding, and Advanced Shipment Notification creation
• General administrative tasks as needed
• Additional Duties, as assigned.

Requirements: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:

• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• High energy, self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn
• Must have strong interpersonal skills working with internal teams

• Hands-on approach with attention to detail. Leads by example
• 1 years experience with order entry software systems
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Efficient phone and video conferencing skills and the ability to interact professionally with others
• Must be able, capable and willing to troubleshoot and problem solve to improve customer service
• Ability to work in a high-concentration and fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems a plus
