Job Summary:
Lamson, a leading cutlery manufacturer, is seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse operations and a keen eye for quality. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and inspecting products, helping managing inventory, and assisting with incoming and outgoing shipments. Forklift experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items in a timely manner for customer and dealer orders.
- Assist with packing and preparing items for shipment.
- Inspect and clean products upon arrival in the warehouse to ensure they meet quality control standards.
- Assist in weekly Cycle Counts.
- Receive items into the warehouse management system and update inventory records.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members and report any discrepancies in stock or quality issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
