This role conducts air quality assessments, including emissions reporting, air dispersion modeling, and permitting to address complex environmental challenges in industries such as petrochemical, refining, and manufacturing. This position evaluates regulatory situations, develops high-quality work products, and collaborates on multifaceted air quality projects to meet client and regulatory deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities :
- Provide high-level consultations to support Company strategies and policies in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and Climate-related aspects.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the Corporate GHG protocol, and lead new technologies or research initiatives in the field of GHG reduction and challenges related to climate change aspects.
- Support the professional development of young Saudi engineers in areas related to environmental assessment, management, and technologies.
- Establish business goals and GHG reduction opportunities.
- Conduct research and interpret air quality and climate change legislation and policy.
- Evaluate climate change GHG emissions pathways and energy outlooks.
- Assess climate change risks and impacts.
- Interpret International and National Ambient Air Quality Standards and Emissions Standards.
- Perform research tasks of significant technical complexity, as well as developing and implementing innovative and creative technical solutions.
- Interact with government and international entities about climate change reporting mechanisms.
