Published : Nov 19, 2024 β The Advisory Manager develops and implements strategies to deliver effective Advisory Services, and unites the HR advisory community to foster engagement and innovate workplace practices. This position builds and manages a visible and trusted Advisory team that partners with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges while coaching leaders and employees in HR policies to enhance talent management, diversity, and performance. The manager also provides expert advice on employment law, oversees disciplinary processes to improve performance, and conducts exit interviews to enhance employee experience and retention.
Responsibilities :
- Develop the strategy and plan to deliver Advisory Services in an aligned and effective manner.
- Bring the HR advisory community together, building trust, engagement, and energy around vision and new ways of working.
- Establish a trusted and highly visible team by building partnerships with customers and stakeholders by understanding their business, issues, expectations, and challenges.
- Build, develop, and manage an Advisory team.
- Coach and support people leaders and employees on a broad range of HR policies and practices including talent management, learning, and performance management to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth, development, diversity, and inclusion.
- Partner with and coach / develop new people leaders on a range of HR policies and practices, ensuring they are equipped and competent to build strong, successful, and engaged teams.
- Provide competent advice and guidance on employment laws and legal considerations to people leaders and employees.
- Provide advice, counsel, and support regarding employee behavior, health and performance capability cases, and discipline with the goal of performance improvement.
- Ensure ongoing adherence to HR policies, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in the interview process, ensuring the process is fair, compliant, robust and that ensures selection success.
- Perform exit interviews with the intent to determine causes of leaving, analyze trends, and partner with people leaders to take proactive actions to improve the employee experience.
