Role Overview
As a key contributor to the Lanai Community Health Center, the incumbent in this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the effective operation of the organization. As a Medical Assistant, your responsibilities are central to the provision of quality patient care. Beyond routine medical assisting duties, you will actively participate in the multifaceted nature of LCHC's role as a patient care, teaching, and research organization. This role requires a dynamic and flexible approach to contribute comprehensively to the diverse activities of LCHC.
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in performing Medical Assistant responsibilities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and basic clinical tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
