Position Overview
The Academic Coach will play a crucial role in fostering academic excellence by providing targeted academic tutoring, college preparation, and test prep services. This position involves building strong relationships with various educational stakeholders, delivering high-quality educational support, and contributing to the overall goals of Lana Learn.

Primary Responsibilities
Academic Coaching : Provide High Impact Tutoring to high school students, focusing on individual and group settings within the DMV area.
Specialized Instruction : Deliver engaging academic and test-prep instruction tailored to the needs of diverse student groups.
Communication and Reporting : Maintain effective communication with administrators, students, and parents; report on student progress towards academic and test-prep goals.
Goal Setting and Progress Monitoring : Assist students in setting personal and academic goals; track and communicate progress to Lana Learn’s Leadership Team and school administrators.
Data Collection and Analysis : Gather and analyze data to remain compliant with grant requirements and to enhance the educational services provided by Lana Learn.
Professional Development : Participate in required training sessions and professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience in classroom teaching, SAT / ACT prep, or academic tutoring.
Proven ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
Passionate about fostering educational success and access.
Experience with English Language Learners is a plus.
Compensation
This is a full-time contract position, Monday through Friday, from 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM, with additional hours as needed for after-school programs.
