Description
The Traveling Archery Sales Technician/Driver will drive the LAS Express trailer to various archery events and assist customers with archery product and service. Assist Tournament Sales Supervisor in performing all functions in relation to the show trailer product including reorder lists, transfers, loading, unloading, inventory, reorder point maintenance and product selection.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicle and trailer to event location, previous experience driving combination vehicles under 26,000 lbs preferred
- Assist customers with the purchase of archery equipment, answer technical questions and provide information and recommendations on product
- Assist customers with bow set-up, bow tuning, trouble-shooting and arrow building
- Successfully solve customer grievances resulting in a satisfied customer
- Set up cradlepoint, directional antennas, computers, printers, power, etc
- Assist in Pro Shop and Customer Service during trailer off season months
- Maintain active and dynamic knowledge of products in inventory
Qualifications
- Ability to travel 100 plus days per year, including weekends, between February and September
- Basic proficiency with personal computer operations; Microsoft Office applications preferred
- A current drivers license with clean history
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification
- Passion for archery as an all-encompassing sport with strong technical experience
- Ability to approach customers with an enthusiastic attitude
- Strong ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with customers and employee
- Strong work ethic, self-motivating and able to work independently and in a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to pass drug test
The physical/mental requirements for this job function are as follows:
- Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 10 hours per shift
- Must be able to climb and descend ladders
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to push up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pull up to 50 pounds
