Job Summary:
The Admissions Counselor represents Lancaster Bible College to prospective students and families and works to increase inquiries as well as convert applications into enrolled students.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lead tours around campus.
- Must be able to transport recruitment materials weighing 20-25 pounds.

Education and Experience:
- A bachelors degree is required.
- Experience in sales or recruiting preferred.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with prospective students and families, providing consistent guidance throughout the application process. Manage a portfolio of 200 applicants with the goal of enrolling mission-fit students.
- Assist in reviewing applications and supporting the acceptance process under the guidance of the Director of Admissions.
- Communicate effectively through texting, phone calls, email, and mail to ensure timely and exceptional student service.
- Guide students and families through the Financial Aid process, offering basic scholarship details, FAFSA insights, and financial planning options.
- Assist in the planning and execution of Open Houses and Orientation Days to provide prospective and incoming students with a welcoming and informative experience.
- Represent the College at conventions, retreats, college fairs, churches, and high schools. This may require overnight travel, as well as evening and weekend commitments.
- Conduct on-campus meetings and walking tours for prospective students and parents, delivering a premier visit experience and addressing questions about the college.
- Prepare reports and evaluations as required by the Director of Admissions, including tracking contacts, managing inventory of college literature, and summarizing college fair activities.
- Perform periodic data entry and maintain accurate student records within CRM and SIS systems to support communication and enrollment strategies.
- Provide general office support by answering phone calls and assisting walk-in visitors as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
