What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Bus Attendants position at Lancaster Central School District?
Times will vary and will be provided as routes are prepared for bidding. Consistency with special-needs students is essential.
Accompanies a school bus for the purpose of assisting pupils to climb aboard and alight from bus; helps young pupils to cross the highways in safety; maintains order on bus and makes certain that passengers are seated while bus is in motion; assists pupils and driver as needed.
Job Qualifications
Candidates should have the ability to get along well with children and to maintain discipline. Must have achieved bus attendant/monitor certification including a valid two-year adult/child CPR certification at time of application.
