Description
PART TIME -APPROX 20-25 HOURS PER WEEK
Under occasional supervision, supervises after school, senior programs and summer camp programs held at the site. Work involves planning, scheduling, and implementing daily activities. Ensures the constant and consistent safety of the children attending the ASP / SDC programs. Reports to Site or Facility Manager
Examples of Duties
PART TIME -APPROX 20-25 HOURS PER WEEK
Supervises after school, senior programs and summer camp program staff; oversees daily care of children in programs.
Plans, directs, and implements daily activities.
Handles the responsibility for keeping accurate attendance records.
Supports marketing and promotion efforts for program needs.
Keeps accounting records and collects payments; issues receipts; maintains accurate records of all payments.
Ensures proper registration forms have been completed and received for every child.
Plans, directs, and implements special events.
Implements discipline policy; informs parents of discipline issues.
Maintains accurate reporting of employee timecards and program attendance records.
Maintains all community bulletin boards.
Assists children with homework; nurtures children; mediates problems with children and staff.
Handles the responsibility for maintaining adequate supplies on hand such as snacks, crafts, equipment, etc.
Monitors the activities and behavior of customers; enforces compliance with policies, procedures, and safety rules.
Receives, reviews, prepares and / or submits various records and reports including registration forms, incident reports, attendance reports, schedules, memos, correspondence, etc.
Operates a variety of equipment such as telephone, fax machine, custodial equipment, computer, copier, etc.
Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as the immediate supervisor, other County personnel, subordinates, volunteers, customers, service providers, community organizations, and the general public.
