Are you an EMT seeking employment in a high-volume 911 environment? Lancaster EMS, the largest and only nationally accredited ambulance service in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, is actively recruiting Full-time EMTs.
Lancaster EMS responds to over 54,000 requests for service annually using a tiered response system. EMT and AEMT staffed ambulances, supported by ALS Paramedic response vehicles, respond to 911 and non-911 incidents in an urban, suburban and rural care environment.
With over 58 well-maintained ambulance and support vehicles, Lancaster EMS delivers top quality clinical care supported by a highly engaged medical director, modern equipment, and a peer-driven performance improvement team. As a dynamic organization, Lancaster EMS is an area leader with an innovative community paramedic program enhancing the medical and social care delivery in Lancaster County. Additionally, Lancaster EMS is the only EMS agency with an on-staff Athletic Trainer. Ideal EMT candidates will demonstrate strong customer service skills, have a strong grasp of PA DOH BLS protocol, possess excellent communication skills, excel in a team dynamic, and show competency in clinical and documentation ability.
Required credentials include: PA EMT, high school diploma, valid driver's license, CPR, EVOC, EMSVO, Haz-Mat Awareness, ICS 100, 200, 700, 800.
