Position: Help Me Grow Home Visitor
Position Summary: Help Me Grow Home Visitor will be responsible to
coordinate program services for children zero to three years of age. The HMG
Home Visitor will provide referrals and screenings. These families must meet
Help Me Grow eligibility criteria cited in the Fairfield County Help Me Grow
Program rules. The HMG Home Visitor will function in a professional manner at
all times. The Help Me Grow Home Visitor will report directly to the HMG
Supervisor/Contract Manager.
Qualifications/Expectations:
• High School diploma with two years’ experience with children and families
- Demonstrate knowledge of family dynamics, at risk families, infant health and
- Be knowledgeable of community services and have an understanding of how
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate ability to organize work and approach work in an organized
- Must have own reliable transportation and valid Ohio Driver’s License.
- Must have the ability to physically be on the child’s level.
- Must be willing to establish a flexible schedule to meet the needs of families.
- Must have the ability to initiate respectful and meaningful relationships with
- Must demonstrate an appropriate professional demeanor and appearance at
- Must become a certified Parent Educator through the P.A.T. Program & re-
- Must complete all HMG required trainings and Home Visitor Credentialing.
Pay Range: $18.14 - $21.60 per hour, depending on qualifications
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday days / 40 Hours per week / 52 weeks
per year
