Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the nursing home leadership team to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for nursing and support staff roles, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
- Build a talent pool of qualified candidates by networking and attending job fairs, career events, and healthcare recruitment events.
- Conduct background checks, verify references, and ensure candidates meet all regulatory and certification requirements.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process, including providing timely feedback and communicating job details clearly.
- Assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring they complete all necessary documentation and orientation:
- Qualifications
- Experience as a recruiter, preferably in healthcare or a similar setting.
- Familiarity with nursing home or long-term care regulations and staffing needs is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, platforms, and techniques.
