Position Overview
Gate Greeter/Bag Checkers are essential in ensuring the safety, security, and enjoyment of all fans attending events at Penn Medicine Park. This role involves welcoming fans, inspecting bags, enforcing stadium policies, and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Bag Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of bags, including medical and diaper bags, ensuring compliance with the stadium’s clear bag policy. Prohibit entry of restricted items such as weapons, fireworks, laser pointers, noisemakers, and outside food or beverages (other than sealed bottled water).
• Fan Interaction: Greet fans with a friendly and professional demeanor while maintaining a firm presence to uphold stadium policies and safety regulations.
• Policy Enforcement:
• Enforce the stadium's no-smoking policy and other safety guidelines.
• Address concerns about prohibited items or outside food and beverages sensitively, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Crowd Monitoring: Observe guests entering and exiting the stadium to ensure compliance with rules and identify any potential safety concerns or violations. Handle unruly or disruptive behavior professionally and involve security when required.
• Alcohol Compliance: Monitor guests leaving the stadium to ensure adherence to local alcohol regulations, prohibiting the removal of alcohol from the facility.
• Support Roles: Assist at stadium entry points, crosswalks, or parking areas to direct guests and provide information on stadium policies and amenities.
• Safety Advocacy: Act as a first responder to guest concerns, emergencies, and issues, prioritizing safety and creating a positive experience for all.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
