Now Hiring: Cemetery Maintenance Worker (3-Month Contract) – Jacksonville, MO
We are seeking a Cemetery Maintenance Worker in Jacksonville, MO for a 3-month contract opportunity. If you have experience in landscaping, maintenance, and facility upkeep, this role is perfect for you!
What You’ll Do:
Maintain cemetery grounds – mowing, trimming, edging, and landscaping
Clean and preserve memorials, pathways, and visitor areas
Perform minor repairs on fences, gates, benches, and equipment
Assist with gravesite preparations and provide general visitor support
Follow all safety regulations and cemetery guidelines
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or custodial work (preferred)
Ability to operate mowers, trimmers, power washers, and other maintenance tools
Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with visitors and families
Valid driver’s license (if required for specific duties)
