Job Description
Position details:
- Location: Onsite - Secaucus, NJ 07094 (100% onsite)
Shift:
- (1) Thurs - Sunday 10:00pm - 8:00am (please note to start will be day shift, Mon to Fri 8 to 4 with some flexibility on weekends, will move to regular scheduled shift once new DC goes into full production, date TBD)
- (2) Thurs to Mon 8-4PM (whoever takes this shift will need to have flexibility to work other shifts as needed)
Requirements:
- Requires previous experience working in a Large Data center (minimum of 100 cabinets up to 200 cabinets)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data communications
- Rack and Stack of network equipment
- Fiber patching, cleaning, and Testing
- Break Fix of network and cabling infrastructure
- Proficient in utilizing technical tools such as Sniffers, BERT testers, cable testers, and fiber testers.
- Basic knowledge of local and wide area networking (WLAN/LAN)
- Familiar with 66 Block and 110 Block cross connect procedures
