Director of Nursing

Job description

The Director of Nursing (DON) is the sole nurse on the property and will oversee all three shifts

(6 AM – 2 PM, 2 PM – 10 PM, and 10 PM – 6 AM).

The DON will:

• Lead and manage all aspects of resident care and health services.
• Be on call, receiving an additional $100 biweekly ($2,600 annually) for this responsibility.
• Have up to $5,200 in bonus potential, paid annually based on:
• Staff retention
• Survey results
• Completion of care plans
• Other key performance indicators.
• Work 45-65 hours per week, depending on operational demands.

Experience:

• Leadership and management experience in senior living, long-term care, or memory care or Assisted Living.
• Proven ability to train and mentor staff.
• Expertise in physical and cognitive assessments, care planning, and compliance
• Licensure: RN (strongly preferred) or LPN with extensive leadership experience.
