New ED with 75 exam rooms under construction and opening late 2024-25
24-hour Cath Lab
Scribes work alongside physicians
Additional 10-bed overflow unit
No Call
Must be BC / BE in Emergency Medicine
Residency requirements- EM residency required
Temporary Privileges : Most files are granted temporary privileges prior to the credentials meeting being held due to the rapid turn-around time.
We do not need to request temps and there is not a separate process, or application, or fee in- order for a provider to be granted temps.
Temps are valid for 120 days (or until the file received full Board approval) whichever occurs first.
Once a hard-stop date for rapid processing of files is identified, below outlines the normal temporary privilege process :
Temporary privileges may be granted by the CEO, upon recommendation of the President of the Medical Staff, when there is an important patient care, treatment, or service need, such as : (i) for the care of a specific patient or (ii) to an individual serving as a locum tenens for a member of the Medical Staff. Prior to the granting of temporary privileges in important patient care need situations, current licensure and current competence will be verified.

Specialty Back Up : All specialty backup available, except for Ophthalmology, OMFS, and hand surgery
MUST be open to working days and nights including weekends. Site is adding an addition shift and currently down 1 FTE nocturnist.
