Job Title : Government Compliance / Government Logistics Analyst
Location : Indianapolis, Indiana
Duration : 6 months
Pay range : $25 to $29 / hr on w2
Description :
This position is a Government Logistics Analyst
Experience within the DoD / Government sector is required
Experience and in depth understand of contractual requirements
Experience within receiving, shipping, and inventory / material control
Knowledge of SAP applications, including Horizon, Prism, and Apex
Knowledge of DFARS Appendix F
Job Details :
Performs Logistics support relating to the delivery of end item deliverables. This position requires an in depth understanding of contractual requirements in order to create and deliver end item deliverables. Produces documentation to obtain customer acceptance and to provide the necessary data to invoice the customer for billing. The documentation includes the DD250, an International Packing Sheet and / or a Domestic Packing Sheet. Position requires a high degree of accuracy. Erroneous data or failure to achieve objectives will have a serious effect upon the ability of to meet customer delivery requirements and meet financial goals. Provides training to others. Position also includes cross functional duties within receiving, shipping, and inventory / material control.
Required Skills :
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking work environment.
Demonstrated ability to interface with a wide variety of internal and external customers, peers, and management in order to deliver resolution in assigned areas.
Successful experience with being tactful and diplomatic in regards to assisting customers
Decision making responsibility with minimal supervision.
4 to 6 years of intermediate knowledge & experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to perform research and analysis in a variety of systems
Ability record and track shipment totals against contractual line items.
Ability to resolve customer requirements for the delivery of contractual deliverables
Ability to be flexible and adaptive to learning new job responsibilities and tasks
Required Education :
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field 4 to 6 years relevant experience can be substituted for a degree
