What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic position at LanceSoft, Inc.?
Duties:
This customer serviced focused position is responsible for the facility maintenance of buildings and equipment essential to the operations in a clinic or hospital setting.
May assist/performs a variety of repair work, general maintenance and mechanical maintenance. This may include HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and grounds-keeping.
Assists/performs services operating, maintaining and repairing various HVAC, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.
This may include boilers, diesel engines, pumps, generators, condensers, and compressors.
Assists/performs general maintenance and repairs which may include welding, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and equipment repair; to walls, doors, windows, ceilings, and roofs.
Performs routine maintenance to various hospital systems may include pneumatic tube systems, medical gas systems, hydronic heating systems, ventilation systems, beds, overhead lighting and nurse call systems.
Assists/performs repair work to motors, controls, compressors, belts, pumps, traps, valves, machinery, fabrication, and installation in accordance with manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
Performs preventative maintenance include adjusting, cleaning, lubricating parts, replacing filters, visual inspections, overhead lighting, and other duties which may include grounds/snow removal.
Performs a variety of office administration skills displaying standard knowledge of computers, applications, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, material lists, completes TMS work orders and accounts for all hours worked.
Exhibits professional behavior and communication skills with a commitment to superior customer and quality of service.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment while wearing proper PPEs at all times.
Operates vehicles, equipment, tools in a professional and safe manner.
Completes work in accordance with OSHA standards.
Performs fire response and crisis team functions as necessary.
Some locations and sites may be required to work on call. Performs other duties as assigned.
Valid driver license is required for first and second shift staff only (any 3rd shift staff member moving to 1st or 2nd shift would be required to provide proof of valid driver's license upon transfer to another shift).

2 years of building maintenance or plant operations experience
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Mechanic certification or equivalent preferred.
