New Grad RN Residency Program
Location : Charleston, SC
Unit : (Med / Surg Units)
Visa : No Visa Sponsorship
Program Overview : We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for new graduate Registered Nurses (RNs) through our StaRN Residency Program. This year-long program provides a paid, intensive training experience designed to help new graduates gain acute care experience. The program begins with a 10-16 week classroom and preceptorship phase, followed by ongoing professional development.
Requirements :
- Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-state Compact RN license (or ability to obtain)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school within the past year
- Two-year full-time commitment to the hospital (monetary responsibility if commitment is not fulfilled)
- Self-motivated, strong communication skills, and excellent attendance
Units Hiring StaRN Residents :
Program Structure :
Phase 1 : StaRN Training (5-8 Weeks)
Instructor-led classroom training
Phase 2 : StaRN Clinical Preceptorship (7-8 Weeks)
Conducted on-site at the hospital
Phase 3 : HCA Residency Program (Remaining Year)
Transition to a full-time role at the hospital
