Job Title: PEGA Lead Systems Architect
Location: Auburn Hills MI
Duration: 12 Months
Description:
The Pega Lead System Architect will provide architectural guidance and governance on the Pega platform, its applications and data integrations. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Responsible for the overall system architecture of the Pega Platform
Provides lead architectural support and guidance to multiple teams
Defines, develops, documents, and maintains governance / best practices documentation
Provides technical expert services to Pega projects including: design review, configuration walk-through, reuse assessments, performance health checks, phase readiness reviews
Develop Proof of Concepts and participate in DCO sessions
Works with product vendor(s) to solve product bugs and environment performance issues
Manage upgrade plan and administrate hotfixes
Harvests / builds / supports reusable common components
Handles Infrastructure / Platform Support needs
Monitors performance of the Pega environment (including Data layer) using OOTB indicators as well as using custom scripts to ensure healthy and stable environment
Prepares technical and support documentation
Manages support resources on-site and off-shore
Participate in daily scrum meetings and support / resolve Pega blockers
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field required.
7 years of hands on PRPC Pega platform experience
Pega Certified Lead System Architect certification
Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) certification
Pega PRPC rule management
OO Programming languages such as java, python, C , Ruby, .Net
Database knowledge (preferably SQL Server)
Browser technologies including HTML, JavaScript, XML and CSS
Web services Soap, REST, CI/CD, Visio, UML and Excel
Hands on experience in architecting & designing Pega application across a large enterprise
Ability to design / configure Pega apps
Strong people-to-people skills
Strong written and oral communication skills for both technical and functional topics
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
Be able to work independently with minimal direction
Advanced problem solving skills
Exhibits creative thinking while defining sound and practical solutions
Design and develop Pega BPM applications
Develop solution architecture within the Pega PRPC environment, collaborating with technical architects and other senior technical members
Adopt best practices in Pega architecture / design / coding
Design application frameworks, class structures and data models
Involve in creating and developing codes to execute test plans for quality delivery
Create, maintain and update documentation of the Pega solutions
Implement configuration changes to Pega applications based on customer's functional and technical requirements
Assist business users during UAT
Provide post production support and knowledge transfer to the team/clients as applicable
Work closely with the team to resolve any critical issues and contribute to process improvements and enhancements
Working knowledge and understanding of how to review, analyze and take action on PDC / AES logs
Hands on experience in Pega PRPC/BPM 7x
Strong experience and knowledge about OOPS concepts
Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript and frameworks such as Angularjs, XML and CSS
Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java
Preferred Requirements:
Master's Degree in STEM field
