Job Description
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Float: Throughout hospital
- On-call: no assigned call, but will need to be somewhat flexible for sick call coverage
- Required Certifications: MI RN, or LPN. AHA or client BLS.
- Minimum experience: 2 years’ experience. Previous LTC experience
- Charting Experience: ECS charting. They will provide the training for the charting
- Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): We are a small one level facility, licensed for 39 residents currently have 22 LTC. Our current staffing for aides is: 2 on all shifts, the shifts are: 0600-1400, 1400-2200, 2200-0600. We have in addition to the 2 aides, one RN or LPN they work either 8- or 12-hour shifts.
- We have 2 hallways. Our resident population is mostly dementia, (I think right now we have 12 of our 22 residents with dementia) we do not have a locked unit or an Alzheimer’s unit. Many of our residents do require lifts for transfers.
- Hard worker, Time management, Resilient and Manages Change well, social candidates, Dependable and Accountable, Compassionate, Positive Attitude
- Scrub Colors: any color of scrubs, patterns are fine also
