Preferred Schedule : 8a-4 : 30p M-F Worksite Setting : Ocularist; Front Desk staff; Lab Tech, RN, Dental assistants Scope of Work : Responsibile for fitting, fabricating, inserting, and maintaining custom ocular prosthetics for patients and providing custom prosthetic eye care; fabricate and fit ocular prostheses for individuals who have lost an eye or eyes due to trauma or illness; take impression of the eye socket, shape plastic shell, paint iris, and fit ocular prostheses; insert and maintain ocular prosthetics; teach the patient on proper care, cleaning, removal and insertion of protheses; record patient charts / appointments; perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
