Title : Warehouse Operator
Location : St. Louis, MO
Duration : 12 months contract - temp to perm
Shift : 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:00-AM - 330-PM
Pay : $21.00 USD hourly on W2
Purpose Of Job:
Receive and store purchased, and inter-company transferred goods. Pick, pack, ship and distribute goods with required documentation and accuracy to meet company needs. Participates in physical inventories of warehouse, issue and deliver goods to manufacturing.
Essential Responsibility
1.) Shipping Materials – Pick and Pack items for outbound shipments with emphasis on detail
2.) Receiving of materials – coming material storing at the correct temperature per protocol
3.) Inventory Control – Cycle count inventory
4.) Report discrepancies or damaged goods
5.) Inspect and compare with packing lists, bills of lading, purchase orders discrete jobs, variances, MRA’s and/or related documentation
6.) Document and label materials according to procedure
7.) Utilize all department tools as required
8.) Perform other duties as assigned
Education
HS Diploma or GED
Knowledge
1 years of experience working with Oracle and IM
Skills
- Basic use of pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, etc.
- Maintains understanding of safe work practices
- Proper use of PPE where required
- Overtime contribution when necessary
- Familiarity basic computer skills/Microsoft Office Software
- Interpersonal and teamwork involvement
- Lifting, pulling, and tugging up to 50 pounds
- Standing for up to 8 hours
- Strong math skills including unit of measure conversion
- Good written and verbal skills
Environmental Conditions
Operating equipment such as pallet jack and electric pallet jack. Lifting and moving heavy awkward objects. Must wear personal protective equipment. Endure cold conditions in walk-in cooler and freezers
