Description:
- Perform responsible clerical duties within the department which may require exercise of initiative and judgment.
- Work may be varied in nature and performed with minimum supervision.
- Wave all routed store orders (Prepare daily orders for their assigned shift within the LCS Warehouse Management System).
- Utilize the LCS System to manually place all waved orders in Pick Manager, allowing selection to begin.
- Per the workload on a shift, set-up the shipping dock via the Navis Yard Management System.
- Prepare and separate paperwork for the loader group.
- Net Invoice completed assignments in LCS, ensuring the stores are billed for items shipped.
- Create chase (shorted product) assignments in Pick Manager.
- Maintains file for daily loading and production records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in groups
- Good organizational skills
- Aptitude for math and working with figures is necessary
- Familiarity with LCS, Pick Manager, Navis Systems
- PC experience
- Must have history of good attendance
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
- Some work is performed under general office conditions in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer.
- Work is performed in varying conditions; warehouse environment, warehouse temperatures ranging from -20 degrees through ambient outside temperatures over 80 degrees and temperature-controlled office environment.
- During part of the workday the incumbent will be moving about the Distribution Center warehouse floor and potential hazards exist in regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc.
- Incumbent may use computers, keyboards, tablets, calculators, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
