What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catherization Lab Technician (Cath Lab Tech) Allied position at Lancesoft?
Cath Lab Technologist
Shift : 4 x 9 Days M-F 0700-4 : 30PM
On Call / Weekend Requirements : 10 call shifts / month : 1 Friday per month, 6 Mon - Thurs calls per month, and 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month
NO OTHER WEEKEND
Requirements :
will take an EP Lab Tech if they have experience scrubbing for cath lab cases, diagnostic and interventional cases
ACLS
ARRT
MD Board of Physicians certified
2 years of experience required with Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, ASD Closures, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement / Removal, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Right heart catheterization, and Temporary Pacemaker
Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, interventional radiology and special procedures experience preferred ; ep lab skills preferred to include insertion and programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion and cardiac ablation
must have experience with Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose) with procedural Skills Preferred : Isolation Precautions, Use of Rapid Response team
