Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or engineering discipline or related field
- Minimum of 5 years managing network operations teams
- Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, ISR, Nexus, and ASAs, Checkpoint firewalls, Juniper SAs, Riverbed/Cascade, and various other network technologies
- Thorough understanding of network protocols and packet analysis for advanced troubleshooting
- Comprehensive knowledge of companion infrastructure domains: storage, server technologies (hardware, network interface cards, operating system optimization), databases, virtualization
- Experience with the engineering and operation of enterprise class installations
- Extraordinary problem-solving abilities
- A passion for technology with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
