What are the responsibilities and job description for the Database Administrator III position at LanceSoft?
Contract Duration : 18-months

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role :
- Day-to-day operational management of Redshift Clusters and RDS DBs
- Perform Redshift user / security tasks as needed (user / group management, password management, IAM Roles / Policies)
- Analyze production workloads and develop strategies to run optimized Redshift clusters with scale and efficiency.
- Provide architecture guidance and support to technical leads. Help develop code / SQLs for data assets, identify performance tuning opportunities and work with developers to improve production systems.
- Develop monitoring / recovery automation to identify and resolve issues with high SLA
- Research new technologies and develop proofs of concept. Propose tech improvements and new capabilities.
Must Have Skills / Requirements :
1) Redshift or RDS Experience

2) AWS Infrastructure Experience

3) Python / Jenkins Experience
a. Years of experience ( 2 )
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements :
1) Experience with DynamoDB, OpenSearch is a nice to have
