About the Job
- Duration: 8 weeks

As a Cytotechnologist, you will be responsible for analyzing cell samples to detect abnormal cell growth and other abnormalities. To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Certification: Must be certified by the ASCP Board of Registry as a Cytotechnologist
- Licensure: Must be licensed by the state of Louisiana for cytology
- Education: A Medical Technology degree with ASCP certification is acceptable for cytogenetics and histology
