Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team on a local contract basis. The successful candidate will work in an outpatient orthopedic/musculoskeletal rehabilitation setting, performing assessments and developing treatment plans for patients with a variety of conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients to identify their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and objectives.
- Perform manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilization and soft tissue mobilization.
- Use modalities such as electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to promote healing and reduce pain.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
